We did a Long Slow Distance ski - 2 hours at between 60% and 70% of our max heart rate. LSD sessions enhance your body's capacity to deliver oxygen to your muscles and your body's ability to burn fat as a source of energy. Additionally, LSD running teaches your body to store more energy as glycogen in your muscles. Try doing this workout without feeds - only water. Indian Springs is a good place for LSD.
